Ultimate Mustang Makeover - Application Procedure and Eligibility Requirements and Rules

 

 

I. Application Procedure

 

Each applicant must either complete a video and/or application. Applications without videos will still be considered. Videos and/or application must be received by March 12, 2012 at midnight PST.

 

 

II. Eligibility Requirements and Rules

 

Please note that the following eligibility requirements must be met in order to proceed with the application process:

 

 

A. Each applicant must submit a video and/or complete an application form to be eligible to participate in the Program.

 

 

B. If you are selected to proceed to the finalist round, you will be notified by e-mail or phone.

 

 

C. This contest is open to all legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, U.S. Military personnel (and their families) with APO/FPO addresses and must be at least 18 years of age or older. Prizes being shipped outside the United States will incur shipping charges to be paid by the recipient. Void outside the United States and where prohibited.

 

 

d. Each applicant must complete and submit a video and/or application before being eligible to participate in the selection process. In addition, all applicants must complete, sign, and timely return a Finalist Agreement, Release and Waiver Agreement and additional documents before being permitted to participate in the Program. The additional required documents may include, but will not necessarily be limited to, Disclosure and Authorization for Background Reports, Authorization for Release of Records and Information and a Confidentiality Agreement (all of which will be furnished to the applicants). As part of the Release and Waiver Agreement, each applicant must agree to, among other things, assume the risk of any and all injury, illness, death, damage, loss, or harm to the applicant and/or applicant' property, howsoever caused, resulting from or arising out of the selection of participants, applicant' participation in the Program as a participant or otherwise, and/or the production and/or exploitation of the Program. By agreeing to the terms of the Confidentiality Agreement, each applicant will be required to, among other things, treat all information and material received or acquired in connection with applicant' participation in the participant selection process and Program (if selected as a participant), as strictly confidential. In connection with the Disclosure and Authorization for Background Reports and Authorization for Release of Records and Information, all applicants must authorize the Program team to conduct such full and complete background checks of the applicant as the Program team, in their sole discretion, deem necessary or appropriate. The applicants will be required to cooperate fully with the Program Team in connection with such background investigations.

 

e. Applicants must disclose if they have ever been charged with a felony or misdemeanor, other than minor traffic or parking violations. The Program team reserves the right in their discretion to disqualify any applicant based on such disclosures or any other information obtained.

 

f. All participants must agree to abide by the user-generated content procedures and headquarter reporting responsibilities associated with the Program sharing their experiences. The Program team reserves the right in their discretion to disqualify any participant at any time based on lack of fulfillment of these obligations or other lack of cooperation. California Pony Cars and associated sponsors are not responsible for damage to vehicle, mileage, tickets, fines, fees, or any other costs involved in participating in the Program, no purchase necessary to enter contest. Participants must abide by all local, state, and federal laws while participating in the Program. Copyrighted and Protected Media must not be used in the production of any media content submitted to the Program.

 

g. Employees, officers, directors, dealers and agents of California Pony Cars or affiliated and subsidiary companies and program sponsors and the immediate family or members of their same households (whether related or not) of such employees, and any person who is a member of the Screen Actors Guild or the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, are not eligible to be participants on the Program or to participate in this application process.

 

h. The Program team also reserves the right to contact applicants to ask additional questions and/or conduct phone interviews to gather additional information about applicants. Such phone interviews are not required and are at the sole discretion of the Program team to assist in gathering information for participant selection.

 

i. The Program team is not responsible for applications not received. Due to the high volume of anticipated applications, the Program team will not be able to answer any questions about the receipt or status of any application. Finalists will be notified in a timely manner.

 

j. The Program team reserves the right to disqualify any applicant/selected participant for any reason at any stage of the Program.

 

k. By submitting an application, each applicant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless California Pony Cars from all claims and damages arising out of or in connection with his/her participation in the application process or the Program itself, and to have his or her name, voice and likeness used at the Program team'(s) discretion as part of the Program, or as part of promotions arising out of or in connection with the Program, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised as further set forth in the Release and Waiver at the end of the application. No recording, photography, or video equipment will be provided in order to participate in the Program, while video is the preferred method of participation, applicants may submit digital photos, which will be mixed into a photo montage to publish on video sharing sites, or written accounts of tasks. Finalists will be chosen directly by California Pony Cars and Program Sponsors, the winner will be selected by public voting via the internet at Program Website.   

 

l. I understand that, as a participant in the Program, I will not do so as an employee of California Pony Cars or Program Sponsors and will not be entitled to any compensation or employee benefits of any kind of either company, and I agree to refrain from seeking same. I accept that there will be no compensation payable to me for my participation in the Program, other than the Prize(s) that will be awarded to select participant(s) at the end of the contest as highlighted in section (m).

 

m. A total of 10 winners will receive prizes and products as show in the table below. The winner of the grand prize will be announced live at the 2012 Mustangs at the Queen Mary, September, 2012 and posted online the same day.
